There’s going to be all kinds of fun tributes going on
Nashville is throwing a parade in her honor!! How cool is that!!!
Garth Brooks is donating 100% of tomorrows sales from his “Honky Tonk” to the Nashville Public Library
And the CMA has announced a special tribute it will run live
Dolly lived a beautiful life full of love, kindness and giving
A charity she created was to get kids books and reading programs
Anyone that’s known me longer than 30 seconds knows that I can be “larger than life” sometimesssss” that is only sometimessssss 🙃
I love cheesecake, and in my heart, mind and soul truly feel that literacy is a human right
For almost 3 decades now I’ve been volunteering in public schools teaching children how to read
That horrible pic I’m adding isn’t recent, I was 35lbs heavier then, and those glasses, thank goodness for Lasik…… I hate that pic, but I luvv those kids….
So I’ll digress and share it
Those Dr Suess hats? Some big, cheesecake lovin Italian looking guy may or may not of bought them for the entire school, and some books too
If the children can’t read, what becomes of their future? Our futures, Or humanity at large?
Read to your kids, your grandkids, nieces, nephews, older ailing parents, a friend who is sick, just read and share the gift of literacy
