Hi friend, how are you?

Are you a UFC fan? To be honest I’m not the biggest one around
But I do appreciate anyone that works to get to the top of whatever endeavor it may be

Connor McGregor is now a household name
I first saw him on a Discovery Channel experiment years before he became famous
What he did for them showed me right there and then he was going to be big

McGregor went on to become the first fighter to ever hold titles in 2 separate weight classes at the same time. Quite an impressive feat

Unfortunately he’s also always been marred in controversy
At times his over the top antics and behavior are less that of someone that’s had one too many drinks and more like a meth addict on a rampage, or someone that was “roid raging”

After a 5 year hiatus McGregor returned to the ring at age 37
Saturday night he fought Max Holloway, and it was a disaster

McGregor threw, or attempted to throw, some wild / insane / over the top / spinning / back kick / thing…… Had he of not defeated himself it may of been cool

What happened next was McGregor fell to the mat, got up and was not the same after
The referee stopped the fight only 69 seconds into it

When a person uses steroids a few things happen
Two of them are this::
1st: Your muscles grow stronger
2nd: Your tendons become weak
That’s why you see so many massive monster muscle men needing tendon surgery

There are those now that aren’t dogging on McGregor but simply sharing that the extent of his injury is the same as those that use steroids. It shouldn’t of happened
We won’t know for a while if that is the case, if we ever do know

Do you remember when I shared about a Dr lady I know that wants to quit medicine?
She’s only 50sh, I’ve tried diligently to encourage her to stay, the world needs Dr’s
Her discontent is how many patients she sees that don’t or won’t do the work needed to get healthy, they all want “short cuts” in the way of meds
And her biggest rub is that she says few truly understand that for every med we take that there is a counter effect of some kind…. There are no “magic pills”

There are no short cuts in life
And there certainly are no shortcuts for our health
You guys know the drill
Never miss a Monday workout

Invest wisely, live charitably and be well
