Hi Friend

Happy Sunday, how is the weather where you are?
It’s incredible here this weekend
Today’s my “Happy B-Day” 61 today 🍰 

I’ve been “gearing up” for this one a little bit
Something that I think many of us do is set goals for ourselves with our birthdays as the goal dates

This year I didn’t meet all of the goals that I set for today
But here’s the deal, that’s okay, it truly is

You see missing goals isn’t the objective, we set them for a reason
It’s only if we give up on them without giving it our best do we fail
They say 90% of success at anything in life is just showing up
And if we quit, then we eliminate the odds completely

A few years ago I’m not sure that I would of accepted that so gracefully
I believe that’s the kind of maturity you gain with “sage wisdom”

I had busy day yesterday, stopped by a park where there were hundreds of high school seniors and parents taking prom pix
What a day for them, it was beautiful to see everyone so happy

That day for me seems like a entire lifetime ago, in some ways it was
But the good part, I like life right here and right now right where I am

Saturday night is always bonfire night here
