Hi friend, how are you?

Tell me something about your childhood or younger years that you miss?
I’m sure you have a few things, that’s natural

That’s not me in the pic of the kid jumping the boxes on fire out in the street, but my childhood friends and I did that “stunt” often, only we didn’t set boxes on fire, we used trash cans that we “borrowed” from our parents and neighbors 🤣
More than once we all got in “trouble” for that one

That was the mid 70s, Evel Knievel was our hero
Summers were great, I mean great, we always did stuff together, we played
baseball and rode our bikes from sun up to sun down, all day, every day

When I saw that meme of that kid jumping the fire it brought back some great memories
My grandson “Junior Jr” went back home this weekend, 5 weeks he was here

Like I said before, he’s 18 now, our summers together could be changing, or he may move in here with me. Only time will tell

We need reminders in life sometimes, to make us smile if nothing else
But also so that we never forget the dreams we once had

I had a bigggggggggggggg weekend this past weekend, I mean biggggg
Spent Saturday doing some last minute stuff with Junior Jr, took him to the airport later in the day, church on Sunday, lunch with friends, then a couple of metal sculptures of mine were in a art exhibit on Sunday night… We’re going to talk about that more later, it was seriously fun

To say I’m a little wore out today is putting it mildly ……lol…….. 🙃
But that doesn’t mean that I get to go nap, no, I’ll pass, I have stuff to do now
And getting my Monday workout in is one of them

You know what we say around here “Never miss a Monday workout”

Invest wisely, live charitably and be well
