Over in Japan they have a thing called “Shinrin-Yoku” or “Forest Bathing”
Doctors there write prescriptions for people to go to the forest
They do so for things like anxiety, depression and even hypertension
People go to the forests to walk, do breathing exercises and nature watch
It’s made to help you relax
Another thing is in Japan their entire medical system is modeled off of preventative medicine rather than “ What type of insurance do you have”
Now you don’t need to travel abroad to get outside and enjoy nature
Hopefully you can somewhere very close to you
This is one of my favorite spots within about 30 minutes from where I live
To get to it you can’t simply pull up though
You could sit in a car up on top at the parking lot and look down to see it if your not able to walk
But to get this view you have to park the car, walk down one seriously big hill, take it all in then walk back up same said hill… It’s a little bit of a workout, and for me that adds to its beauty…. And like most things in life if it was good it wouldn’t be easy, and if it was easy it wouldn’t be good
