April....

Hi Friend,
Are you a gardener? Ever live on a farm or with someone that grew food? Flowers?
I love to garden, and am getting ready to get started soon, corn is a absolute must for when families bring little kids over, they think it’s a “corn field” lol….
The pic is my garden from a couple of years ago
Do you know where the largest vegetables are grown in America? And most of the world for that fact? Alaska… Yes, the land of giant polar bears, kodiak bears, and maybe even a “care bear” here or there 🙃
The reason vegetables grow so large in Alaska is the sunlight, it gets up to 20 hours of sunlight a day in the summers ☀️
To grow good crops we need
: Good soil
: Seeds
: Rain
: Sun
But what happens if we get too much rain and not enough sun? Crops don’t grow do they?
Life isn’t always easy, sometimes it’s hard. Recently I’ve been trying to help a long time friend that’s going thru a hard time. And in it I’ve been reminded of when I was in a similar spot once
And here’s something else / It’s okay to shine during the good times and bad
Many say that it’s the hard times that make us, I agree
But as the years pass I’m reminded more and more that we can’t always control our circumstances ( the rain ) but how we choose to react ( growth, like from the sun )
But to get that growth we have to be planted / grounded in “good soil” first
And the seeds that we sow may be of our thoughts, or planted by someone that wants the best for us
It’s Saturday, the sun is shining here, I hope it is where you are also
And don’t hold back, allow yourself to plant seeds in good soil every chance you get
Invest wisely, live charitably and be well

The Drink Everyone’s Reaching For This Spring 🍸✨
Spring doesn’t have to mean a packed schedule and another drink you regret tomorrow.
This season, I’m reaching for something different: Vesper by Pique.
Pique is known for blending ancient botanicals with modern science to create elevated wellness essentials. Vesper might be my favorite yet. It’s a non-alcoholic, adaptogenic aperitif that delivers the relaxed, social glow of a cocktail. Without alcohol or the next-day fog.
It’s what I pour when I want something special in my glass on a bright spring evening. Each sip feels celebratory and uplifting. Relaxed body. Clear mind. No haze. No sleep disruption.
Crafted with L-theanine, lemon balm, gentian root, damiana, and elderflower, Vesper is sparkling, tart, and beautifully herbaceous.
If you’re ready for a new kind of happy hour, try Vesper here. 🌿✨
