5 Minutes / A booth / And a "Super Power"

Hi Friend, how are you today?

Something we all have in common is all of us have a “Super Power” or super powers
What are yours? You have them, what are you good at that comes naturally to you that could be considered a “skill” by others

It’s not a contest, in life we’re only in competition with ourselves

One of my super powers is my “unique ability” to get stuff done…. 🙃 

A few days ago I had a errand that was in a part of town that I don’t get to often enough
There’s a family owned restaurant there, they’re only open for breakfast and lunch
Thank goodness I don’t live closer because there’d be no telling what my waistline might look like if I did… lol….

Anytime I get to go there I already know exactly what I want and how I want it
So I walked in, saw the booth I wanted, “commandeered” a young man walking by and told him where I’d be sitting, what my order was, and to bring the coffee

Don’t get me wrong, I was polite, humorous, but on point

When I went to the cash register to pay ( told you it’s family owned, very home town feel ) the lady at the register said this:::
“From the moment you opened the door until the time your food was on the table was less than 5 minutes, I’ve worked here 13 years and have never seen that” lol…..

She then told me her life’s mission is to get her son to be more “productive” and asked if he could come hang out with me, we both laughed

There are things in life that I wish I approached with that kind of “gusto”
Because if I did… There’s no telling what all I could get done
